Brighton Ballet Theater. School of Russian Ballet Brighton Ballet Theater was created to preserve and further the tradition of Russian classical and folk dance in New York City. The goals of BBT are:

to provide an AFFORDABLE and PROFESSIONAL dance education and performance opportunities to all students, regardless of talent, ability or ethnic background;

to serve as a community cultural oasis;

to create a common ground through dance so children, of many ethnic and immigrant communities can interact and study other cultures through classical ballet and folk dances

By adhering to these goals, BBT hopes to mold and develop responsible, well-rounded, passionate children who have the potential to succeed in any field. MARINA MEDVEDEVA

Marina Medvedeva recently moved from Russia to the United States. She is an instructor of ballet (experience 10 years, Vaganova technique), Jazz Dance (experience 10 years, lyrical, broadway jazz, jazz-modern) and modern dance (experience 10 years, Martha Graham technique, contemporary techniques). She has experience teaching different age groups of children and adult as well.
