BBT / The School of Russian American Ballet in conjunction with
Kingsborough's "College for Kids" presents
Summer 2011 Dance Enrichment Programs
This summer, The Brighton Ballet Theater (BBT) offers Dance
Enrichment Programs as an accommodation to working parents.
The BBT is offering a variety of dance classes for children as an
extension to the Kingsborough College For Kids program.
July 11, 2011 to August 18, 2011 | Monday thru Thursday Option:
Any day or all days
Dance classes are offered immediately following Kingsborough’s College
For Kids program.
Children will be escorted by the BBT’s staff from the snack period to
the Building T7’s dance studios.
The schedule of this program will correspond with your child's CFK
schedule, making it more convenient for the parents and their children.
Dance classes at BBT offer a great way to develop healthy, passionate,
responsible and well rounded individuals. See dance classes described
below.
Friday Option #1: Half-day | July 15 - August 19, 2011 |
9:15am-1:00pm
The BBT’s half-day dance enrichment program provides valuable experience
with with fun, results-oriented dance classes and workshops, as listed
below.
Friday Option #2: Full-day | July 15 - August 19, 2011 |
9:15am-5:15pm
The BBT’s full-day dance enrichment program offers a wide variety of
classes led by expert dance instructors. The program’s
dance experience includes dance classes and workshops: “Fairy Tales in
Motion”, "Understanding the World through Dance”,
“Music in Action”, “Why Dance?”, and “Jump for Joy”. The BBT’s full-day
program includes lunch and a snack.
Professional dance classes include:
classical ballet at all levels (Russian method), International folk and
character dance,
rhythmic-gymnastics, modern & popular dance, Latin & ballroom dance. In
addition to these exciting classes,
The BBT’s Friday program offers music appreciation, costume design,
Pilate's for children, and more.
