Brighton Ballet Theater. School of Russian Ballet Brighton Ballet Theater was created to preserve and further the tradition of Russian classical and folk dance in New York City. The goals of BBT are:

to provide an AFFORDABLE and PROFESSIONAL dance education and performance opportunities to all students, regardless of talent, ability or ethnic background;

to serve as a community cultural oasis;

to create a common ground through dance so children, of many ethnic and immigrant communities can interact and study other cultures through classical ballet and folk dances

By adhering to these goals, BBT hopes to mold and develop responsible, well-rounded, passionate children who have the potential to succeed in any field. We are able to prepare You for any dancing occasion whether it’s Social or Competitive, prom, Wedding or Just for FUN!

Personal / Private Dance Lessons for Adults may be taken individually or as a couple and are tailored to your individual needs. Personal lessons help you progress faster and learn the dances more thoroughly. Lessons are offered as 30, 45 or 55 minutes sessions and are scheduled with one of our dance instructors.

• Prepare for a Prom or Wedding
• Improve social dance skills such as lead & follow
• Develop technically

Social Dance Instruction is for singles or couples who are looking to improve their styling and partnering skills. Group classes can only take you so far. Social Dance Instruction will prepare you for dancing socially at Weddings, Proms, Outings, Formals, Cruises, etc.

Competitive Dance Instruction is for singles or couples who wish to compete or perform with another Amateur or with their Professional Instructor.

BBT offers Wedding Dance Preparation packages specifically designed to prepare You for Your Wedding Dance. Specialized packages can involve Personal Lessons or Group Classes. We can prepare your First dance specifically for your Wedding Song or create a dance routine for a father & daughter, mother & son or wedding party dance.

BBT offers Group Dance Classes for Teenagers and Adults.
